The "Custom Journey" is ideal for motivated and adventurous pilots seeking to expand their horizon, but who do not see the “perfect” journey on our web site. It is also ideal for pilots who are unfamiliar with the area they are going to visit, would prefer to save time by having the journey preparation done on their behalf, and would appreciate a 24-hour contact who is available during their vacation for any delay or other problem that may arise.
As a pilot or participant, you just have to let Air Journey know where, when, and for how long you would like to go. Air Journey will listen to your desires and dreams and use its 10 years of experience and knowledge to create a tailor-made private itinerary that will combine your needs with Air Journey’s best recommendations on hotels, things to do, and favorite places to go.
- The Air Journey Independent Traveler Service covers three distinctive areas
- Preparation of all administrative paper work for airplane and flight, such as:
a. Supply of Airplane Cockpit kit (Navigation Charts, Flight Plans, and all administrative paperwork, latest copy of the Bahamas and Caribbean Pilot's Guide).
b. Secure all landing and over-flight authorizations with various aviation authorities.
c. Tailor-made navigation log.
d. Securing TSA Waiver if applicable.
e. Securing required insurance if needed.
f. Provide Customs forms.
g. All paperwork related to the flight.
h. Rental of survival equipment.- All reservations as:
a. Custom-made itinerary based on your choices and Air Journey's recommendations.
b. Hotel reservations.
c. Booking for local activities or excursions (diving, sailing, snorkeling, golf etc.).
d. Dining recommendations.- Full time support (24 hours / 7 days):
Including help in making route changes, securing or alternating bookings, finding technical support, or any pressing matter that needs to be taken care of.

3. Telephone calls and faxes to local aviation authorities to obtain required authorizations.
