In the late afternoon, there will be a briefing on the Journey including a review of the first flight leg which will take us over Quebec City to Nuuk, Greenland.

This evening we will gather for a welcome cocktail to get acquainted with the group before we enjoy our first dinner together.

Reykjavik, Iceland

Our scenic flight across the Atlantic continues to Reykjavik, Iceland. Staying in the heart of the city overlooking the picturesque square of Austurvollur, we are within walking distance of Reykjavik’s iconic landmarks such as Hallgrímskirkja, the striking church that dominates the city skyline, and Althingi, the national parliament, one of the oldest existing parliaments in the world.

The next morning, we will embark on a thrilling Super Jeep tour. We’ll visit Thingvellir National Park, marvel at Lyngdalsheioi’s lava fields, watch Strokkur geyser erupt at Haukadalur, and end at the stunning Gullfoss waterfall. We will finish our day with an excursion to the renowned Blue Lagoon, Iceland’s most iconic attraction. Surrounded by stunning landscapes, the Blue Lagoon is a testament to the healing powers of geothermal seawater. Proceeding with our adventure, we will embark on an unforgettable tour of the Cliffs of Moher. The following morning is yours to unwind or explore at your leisure. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the majestic world of birds of prey. Skilled falconers will guide us through a captivating experience with eight remarkable raptors, offering the rare opportunity to get up close and personal with mesmerizing falcons, hawks, and owls within the castle grounds.

Normandy, France

Proceeding with our exploration, we will fly to Normandy, France, where our stay begins with a transfer to the historic Chateau de Canisy. Nestled on 740 acres of lush Normandie countryside, this privately-owned chateau boasts a rich legacy spanning over 1,000 years, offering a taste of French royalty as we are welcomed by the de Kergolay family.

The next morning, after breakfast, we will explore the iconic D-Day sites, where history comes alive amidst the cliffs, bunkers, and beaches of Normandy. Ilulissat, Greenland

The fun continues as we begin the day with a flight to Ilulissat, Greenland, located about 150 miles north of the Arctic Circle. Upon arrival, we will head to the Arctic Hotel, the perfect retreat to take in Ilulissat’s stunning landscapes. Later, we will embark on a Glacier & Iceberg Cruise, gliding past an incredible array of ice floes and towering icebergs.
