Cartagena, undeniably one of Latin America’s most beautiful cities lost somewhere in time between the sixteenth and nineteenth centuries, with the Caribbean sea as a sparkling backdrop. Sir Francis Drake laid siege to the city but the fortress walls and cannons remain, making the area within the old walled city a living museum.

The following day, enjoy a full day tour to experience Cartagena’s colonial charm with its tiled roofs, balconies and flower-filled courtyards. Relive history in the old walled city, the Ciudad Amarullada, where we will explore the four sectors, each one with a peculiar story to tell: San Diego, La Matuna, Getsemani and Santo Domingo. The tour will include a walking tour and a city tour to enjoy the highlights of this beautiful city.

Afterwards, we will gather for a welcome cocktail before dinner.

Mashpi Rainforest, Ecuador

Our Journey continues to Quito, Ecuador, where adventure awaits at Mashpi Lodge, nestled amidst the captivating cloud forest just outside the city. Today, we will transfer back to Quito, Ecuador, and check in at Casa Gangotena for an overnight stay. This luxurious retreat will provide the perfect setting to relax and prepare for tomorrow’s flight.

Cusco, Peru

Experience a captivating adventure in Cusco, Peru, where history and luxury intertwine at Belmond Hotel Monasterio. Day two brings an early morning departure aboard the Orient Express Luxury train “Hiram Bingham” for an unforgettable tour to Machu Picchu. Indulge in a scenic brunch as you traverse spectacular landscapes en route to the Lost Citadel of the Incas. We will fly to Calama, situated near the enchanting San Pedro de Atacama, famously known as the Valley of the Moon. Our chosen retreat, Explora Atacama, awaits to immerse us in deluxe comfort amidst the stunning landscapes and cultural treasures of the region. Continuing our Journey, the hotel offers a plethora of options for exploration, from walking and hiking to biking, volcano climbing, and horseback riding. Explore remote lagoons, red rock formations, salt flats, and geysers, discovering the captivating landscapes and indigenous villages.

The next day invites further exploration, with our guide assisting in selecting from a range of activities such as hiking, trekking, or biking. Ascend the Quitor hill to explore the ancient ruins of Pukara de Quitor, a XII century fortress steeped in history and nestled amidst breathtaking scenery overlooking the San Pedro River. Santiago, Chile

Embark on a scenic flight along Chile’s rugged coast, offering breathtaking views of the majestic Andes peaks and the picturesque vineyards of Chile’s renowned wine region. Touch down in the sophisticated and cosmopolitan city of Santiago, reminiscent of its European counterparts.

Explore the vibrant streets of Chile’s capital on a guided tour, taking in iconic landmarks such as Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, Cerro Santa Lucia, and La Moneda Palace. Immerse yourself in the bohemian atmosphere of the Bellavista neighborhood before enjoying a leisurely afternoon of shopping or relaxation at the hotel.

Easter Island, Chile

We will embark on a commercial flight to Easter Island, a trip of approximately five hours (round-trip ticket cost not included). This remote island, shaped like a perfect triangle and situated in the heart of the Pacific Ocean, was formed by volcanic eruptions and geological changes two million years ago. It serves as a fascinating outdoor museum of an enigmatic ancient civilization.

Over the next two days, we will explore the isolated beauty of Easter Island, where a double-hulled canoe once brought seafarers from a distant culture about 1,200 years ago. In isolation, they developed a remarkable society and began carving the giant moai statues from volcanic rock—some of the most incredible ancient relics ever discovered. The Rapa Nui people, as they called themselves, left behind a legacy full of mystery. While science has shed light on some aspects of their history, many questions and controversies remain.

As we bid farewell to our adventure-filled experience in Easter Island, our return to Santiago awaits via a commercial flight (round trip ticket cost not included). Upon touching down, we’ll be whisked away to the opulent Mandarin Oriental for an overnight stay to prepare for our flight the next day.

Here, amidst the lavish comforts of the hotel, we’ll have the chance to unwind and rejuvenate, cherishing the memories of our travels and reflecting on the remarkable experiences we’ve had. We will continue our Journey to San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina, a city renowned for its architectural charm and its privileged location amidst breathtaking landscapes of mountains, forests, lakes, and glaciers.

Nestled within the Nahuel Huapi National Park, the Llao Llao Hotel and Resort awaits us, perched on a small hill offering exquisite panoramic views of the stunning Patagonian scenery – from crystal-clear lakes to majestic Andean peaks, and vibrant forests of larch and cypress. The afternoon invites leisurely exploration and relaxation.

Day two unfolds with a half-day city scenic overview tour, treating us to magnificent vistas at scenic lookout points like López Bay and ‘Punto Panorámico’. At Cerro Campanario, a chairlift ride provides a panoramic view of the verdant mountains and glistening lakes below. Returning to the hotel for lunch, the afternoon offers ample free time for further exploration or simply unwinding amidst the splendor of Bariloche.

Our adventure continues to Buenos Aires, Argentina. Day one sets the stage for an unforgettable adventure as we fly to the captivating city of Buenos Aires, the vibrant capital of Argentina. Upon arrival, we’ll transfer to the luxurious Four Seasons hotel for a three-night stay, offering an ideal blend of relaxation and proximity to fantastic shopping opportunities.

Day two invites us to immerse ourselves in the elegance and cosmopolitan charm of Buenos Aires with a morning tour. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Fly over the expansive cattle ranches and stunning landscapes of southern Brazil, tracing the Atlantic coast with its high plateaus and pristine sandy beaches. Our exhilarating flight culminates with a spectacular approach over the breathtaking Bay of Rio de Janeiro, landing at the downtown Santo Dumont airport.

The following day, dive into the vibrant energy of Rio de Janeiro with a full-day tour of the city’s iconic landmarks. Ride the cable car to the summit of Sugarloaf Mountain for panoramic views of the sprawling city below, marvel at the awe-inspiring Cristo Redentor (Christ the Redeemer) statue, and explore the historic neighborhoods of Ipanema and Copacabana. Experience the rich cultural and historical tapestry of Rio, creating unforgettable memories along the way.

Salvador de Bahia, Brazil

Fly to Salvador da Bahia, a historic town brimming with character and offering deep insights into Brazilian culture. Your stay in a charming hotel located in the heart of the old city provides the perfect base to explore and enjoy this vibrant destination.

Discover the highlights of Salvador da Bahia, starting with its UNESCO-listed Pelourinho district. Belem, Brazil

Following a hearty breakfast, our Journey takes us to Belem, Brazil. Upon arrival, we’ll transfer to the Radisson Hotel Maionara for an overnight stay. This comfortable accommodation provides the perfect respite, allowing us to recharge and prepare for our upcoming flight the following day.

Canouan, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

After breakfast, we’ll fly onwards to Canouan, nestled in St. Vincent & The Grenadines. Canouan Island, a secluded sanctuary, is swiftly gaining renown as one of the world’s top luxury destinations. Upon arrival, we’ll transfer to the new Mandarin Oriental, Canouan. Set against a backdrop of crystalline seas, powdery sand beaches, and lush greenery, this resort is a true island paradise, offering elegant colonial-style suites, Lagoon Villas, and Italian-designed Patio Villas.

Day two is yours to enjoy at leisure. Whether lounging on the beach or exploring the island in a golf buggy or bicycle (available for rent), there’s plenty to discover. Seek out the native tortoise species or seek out the historic Anglican Church, a testament to the island’s rich history. Later, we’ll gather for our pilot briefing followed by a delightful dinner.

Canouan is part of the Grenadines archipelago, comprising 32 islands and cays. On the final day, we’ll embark on an exploration of this captivating area, perhaps spotting sea turtles or visiting filming locations of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ on a half-day catamaran boat excursion. Optional activities abound, including snorkeling in Tobago Cays, visiting Mustique, strolling the beaches of Mayreau, or embarking on a deep-sea fishing trip.
